Greenhouse

Even though I have my favourite places to grab a coffee in the area surrounding Avenue Louise, I ended up somewhere different last week: at Greenhouse, a tea-room/eatery tucked away between the many shops on the street.

What brought me there in the first place, was the sign stating a clearance sale at Francis Ferent. The shop is moving back to their old spot, and is therfor giving a 30% discount on the goods.

It was a sunny day and on my way to the shop I spotted a couple of people sitting outside in front of a charming looking tea-room. Well, to be honest, I noticed they all had a little chocolate covered éclair with their coffee, which made me want to have a treat too.

Shopping done, so my friend and I grabbed a seat outside and ordered coffees. They cost between 2.90 and 3.50 euro, come with a delightful little éclair and are served in a quiet alley of one of Brussels busiest shopping streets. How do you like the sound of that?

Greenhouse also serves lunches, averagely priced at around 18 euro. And on rainy days, you can sit inside the tearoom too. We checked, obviously, and it looked rather charming too…

43 Avenue Louise, open every day
