Home Factory
Home Factory in Rue du Bailli is one of those shops you just have to visit, even though you probably really don’t need any of the items they sell: quirky homeware, silly cards and much more.
Rue du Bailli in Ixelles is famous for its many ‘gift shops’. Think of Hopono and Zao, and Rose a bit further down the road, near the church. Home Factory is located on the other side of the street, and sells a similar, yet slightly different range of stuff. Iphone cases for instance, or funny kitchen stuff.
I very much liked the ‘Keep calm & eat cake’ tray, as well as the birthday cards with an excessive amount of glitter. As you can see on the picture, there’s a massive plastic cow in the middle of the shop. It could be yours if you really want it to be.
Home Factory also has a large choice in plastic table cloth, quite hard to find these days. More domestic accessories include funny shopper bags and all sorts of things to even make gardening a fun chore.
See, plenty of things you don’t need … if only they weren’t so hard to resist!
63 Rue du Bailli, open every day but Sunday, between 10.00-19.00
