Idiz Bogam

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on February 18, 2012 in City Centre, Clothes, Drink, Homeware, Shoes, Sunday

Exciting news! I just walked through Rue Haute and noticed a new shop: none other than the new Idiz Bogam, our city’s most famous vintage shop (the old one closed down in Rue Dansaert, after fifteen years of business).

Hyphen Store

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on February 13, 2012 in City Centre, Homeware, Shoes

A tiny shop packed with quirky accessories just opened in town. It’s called Hyphen, as it wants to link all things trendy in Barcelona, Berlin, etc to Brussels. Most of the things they sell aren’t available anywhere else in our capital, which makes a nice change!

Dégriff

Rows and rows of shoe boxes, at a reduced price. Dégriff is a shoe outlet like no other in Brussels. You need time though, and a lot of enthousiasm too, as your favourite pair may very well no longer exist in your size.

Forever 21

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on July 29, 2011 in City Centre, Clothes, Shoes

Rue Neuve is paved with chain stores, so I usually avoid the area on a shopping spree … but when Forever 21 opened its doors, I just had to have a look to see what the fuss was all about.

Vetrico

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on July 26, 2011 in Clothes, Jette, Shoes, Sunday

This is a bit of a weird one, as I like and dislike it at the same time. I walked into this shop years ago, and seem to pop in every time I’m in the area. Most of the times I leave empty-handed, but on good days, there are quite some bargains to be scored.

Cheep

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on July 12, 2011 in Clothes, Ixelles, Shoes

I visited Little Cheep near Bailli a while ago, and decided it was time to make the trip to the big one near the Ixelles cemetery as well. The shop stocks some of my favourite brands (Bel-Air, Ba&sh and Anniel), but somehow I left the shop empty-handed…

… by Kusje

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on July 11, 2011 in Clothes, Ixelles, Shoes

Ever walked into a shop, so new it didn’t have a name yet? I just did, hence the three dots. The owners of fashion store Kusje near Boniface in Ixelles opened a second shop only a week ago, just around the corner.
