On Air Shop

Posted by Bruxelles la Belle on June 25, 2013 in City Centre, Clothes, Sunday

Walking down Rue du Midi I spotted this new store. On Air Shop sells t-shirts and tank tops with a statement print. They all come in limited edition, but luckily new models are regularly added to the range.

Eric Beauduin

I must have walked passed Eric Beauduin’s atelier a hundred of times. His tag line ‘recycling second hand clothes’ intrigued me, but I couldn’t quite figure out what he was doing. Until a couple of weeks ago, when there was light coming from the windows as he’d turned part of his atelier into a shop. […]

Melting Pot Kilo

Rue Haute has a new vintage shop. Before you think ‘oh well, yet another one’, this one has a pretty cool concept. Instead of buying items at a set price, this one sells clothes by weight. At 15 euro per kilo, to be precise.

Village Verve

Multi-brand store Village Verve opened a new shop uptown! Think MM6, Kenzo, Sass & Bide, Surface to Air, Dagmar and much more (women’s wear only). You’ll find the shop on Rue du Bailli.

Remember that shop called EM72 on Rue du Page? It sold jewellery, clothes and shoes by lesser known brands, but closed down a while a go. One of the owners started with something new, close to Place Brugmann: M32.

La Meute

When I heard a curiosity shop opened in the Chatelain area, I had to check it out. After ringing the doorbell, I was allowed access to La Meute. The interior is dark and the objects on display are quite unusual. A-mazing!

Designer Hüsniye Kardas closed down her shop a couple of months ago. Not because she called it a day, but because she wanted to start something new. On the same spot, you’ll now find Stories, a shop with her creations as well as those of four other designers.

I’m a fan of Mellow Yellow, an affordable French shoe label that used to have its own store in Rue Dansaert. Not anymore unfortunately. Luckily there’s a large selection available via FamousBox. Yes, an online shop, but they’re based in Brussels!

Le Dressing

Le Dressing is a new clothes shop for men. If I were a man, this is where I’d shop: great knitwear, Scandinavian brands, good jeans and more. Very nice to have such a store in Brussels.

Marc by Marc Jacobs

And there it is. Finally. A post on the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. The shop opening got delayed by more than a year, but the entire Marc by Marc Jacobs collection is now available in Brussels.
