Zara Home

The sheets! The candles! The cups and plates! The slippers! Everything at Zara Home looks and smells so good.

I don’t know what scent it is they use at the shop, but as soon as you walk in, you noticed this sweet, flowery fragrance. It immediately puts me in a good mood. Mission succeeded Zara!

I love how they make up the beds, with lots and lots of pillows in all sorts of fabrics and colours. I doubt it would be practical to have this at home, but in the shop, I could just dive into it and have a nap (I never did that, I promise).

Their range of nightwear and slippers is great too, although unlike Zara clothes, it’s very expensive (same goes for anything else in the shop).

And even though there’s nothing authentic about their range of china cups and plates, I find them very charming too. I got a set of tea cups with a golden rim, and they survived a whole year (in and out of the dishwasher) just fine.

Last but not least: the kids section. Way too expensive for your own children (I would think so), but great to find gifts for newborns or little cousins. I love their range of cute plates and cups by Barpapapa and the wooden coat hangers with a rabbit.

Tip: during sales, come as soon as you can! (especially if you plan to buy sheets and would love to get the matching pillow cases too).

26, Avenue Louise, open from Monday until Saturday, between 10.00-18.30
