I’m not the best beer drinker in the world, but I don’t mind a glass of crisp geuze on sunny days. Moeder Lambic serves all sorts of authentic beers, in other words: the place to be to discover new brews.
Moeder Lambic has two bars in Brussels. The oldest one in located in the shadow of the Saint-Gilles town hall. It’s small, quite dark, but nevertheless always packed with beer lovers (some even travelled ‘all the way to Saint-Gilles’ just for this bar).
The new bar is located at the Place Fontainas in the centre. It’s a very spacious location with comfy wooden benches and a large terrace.
The beer list is incredible, but luckily the staff know all about the brews and help you choose your next drink.
If you get a bit hungry, they serve nice cheese and cold meat platters (no dodgy gouda cubes and cheap salami!). If you don’t like beer, they have homemade lemonades, coffees and tea as well.
