Senteurs d’Ailleurs
I’ve been a fan of this high-end beauty shop for a while now. They recently moved from one corner of Avenue Louise to another, and are located in a bigger shop. Bigger means more exclusive brands and more products to choose from!
I first visited the shop about three or four years ago, when they started selling Kiehls products. They still are the only dealer of this brand in and around Brussels, and whereas before they could only stock parts of the collection, they now have the whole range!
More of my favourite brands; hair care by Bumble & Bumble (smells divine!), nail varnish by Essie (those colours!), scented Diptyque candles, facial cremes by Dermalogica (oh, that Daily Microfoliant!).
The shop is situated dangerously close to home, which will give me plenty of opportunities to discover all the new brands as well. The shop specialises in perfumes, and has Jo Malone, Ormonde Jayne, L’Artisan Parfumeur, Heeley and much more in store.
A big bonus is the super friendly staff. They’re not pushy at all, and if you’re hesitating to buy a product, they’ll give you a few samples to try it at home first.

For perfumes products are very good and exclusive, unfortunately service leaves much to be desired. I waited for long time to have someone available. Even after 15 min, they were busy talking among them and not paying attention at all to customers. They are all well dressed, look nice, but most of them have no idea about products or brands they have in the shop. Perhaps I was unlucky… five times in a row. To have good products is not enough, especially for luxury goods. Service makes all the difference. Good service is so rare especially in Brussels.
